Hi Kip,

Just wanted to let you know that Lexi is doing great. She was a little thrown off at first by 10 inches of snow yesterday, but ended up sprinting in our backyard with Syrus and playing with the kids. I took her to the vet yesterday and she is in great health and worm free. She weighs 20.2 pounds already. My mom jokes and says that we got a pot-bellied pig because of her large belly and the fact that she is a snorter. We will get her spayed in April. I thought you might like to see pictures of her in the snow and how her and Syrus are getting along perfectly! They play together and take naps together. At night her crate is right next to his bed until she is completely house trained....which she is doing terrific on already. Anyways, thanks again. The 11 hour drive was completely worth it!

Hi Kip,

I bought a pup from you around the first of the year and just wanted to drop a line and let you know what a great dog he's turning out to be. Hunter S. (named after the author) is a quick learner, with lots of drive, and is super eager to please. He passed all the vet checks and is a very healthy dog. He is great with people and other dogs, and has become part of the crew at the motorcycle shop I work at. People stop me all the time to compliment his looks and ask about him, I've even had a few park their cars and get out to do so. He's becoming a great 'ambassador for the breed'. Anyway, thank you again for working with me to get him out to California.

Hi Kip,

Thank you so much for such a wonderful dog! Well, we decided to name him "Bunk" and we think it fits him pretty good. It sounded strange when Jacob first suggested it, but it really grew on us! Anyway, We can't believe how smart he is! He's almost like a full grown dog in a little body, ( far smarter than our Lab "Loor" when she was his age), and so sweet! He really tugs at my heart. We don't allow our dogs on the couch so I've been spending alot of time sitting on the floor :) We are sending a few pictures of Bunk's first week in our house. He's very well adjusted ( good job!) and fit in right away. We feel truly lucky to have this dog and we will continue to send pictures as he grows!

Kip,

Just wanted to say things couldn't be better. Tammy just came back from the vet and is now 24 lbs. We followed your advise and picked up a blanket at Target before our long trip back to NJ. We made frequent stops and she did great. As you know we had a cage in the car set up for Tammy. We left the gate open, and wrapped her in the towel as you suggested. She bonded with us in no time at all. Later as we drove home Tammy decided to seek out the cage in the back and went to sleep. We got her home and she adapted to the house in no time at all. She learned so fast we where amazed. Tammy has been perfect as far as potty training. She went outside from the beginning and we have not had an accident in the house. She has gained seven pounds since we picked her up. Tammy has learned to sit, stay, lay down, give her paw in a matter of a few weeks. We are extremely proud of her. We love taking her on long hikes. Tammy loves the water, and has become extremely fond of the game of soccer. We take her to the park nearby and she will chase down the ball, stop it, roll it back. She can play for hours, chasing the ball, stopping it etc. We are amazed how quickly she has learned. Future pictures to be sent soon.

Again Thanks and Regards Sylvia and Mario De Voogt - New Jersey

Hi,

We were just looking back at your web page and thought we'd send you some pics of Shelby, our little girl we got from you labor day of 2007. I think she was one of Buddy's offspring, and she was the runt, but she turned out to weigh about 67 lbs at 2 years old and STRONG too! She's a WONDERFUL dog and we love her tremendously. I've attached a few pics b/c I can't pick just one!

Kip,

Here are a few new pics of Diesel and Daisy. They are wonderful dogs. Diesel is definately hard headed, you said he gets that from Gypsy. Daisy is such a sweetheart with great temperment. They both get along well. Thanks so much for letting us buy these wonderful dogs, they are such a big part of our family.

Hi Kip,

Alan & Carla Messmann here, we bought Bella from you in September 09. She has been a wonderful dog and friend for our whole family. She sleeps with our boys every night, when she sees them getting ready for bed she jumps into one of their beds & goes right to sleep. She has a lot of dog friends in riverside park where she goes 4 times a day. She is a very social girl and has dog friends calling for play dates....often. Bella is a joy to be with and has a great temperament. She likes dogs with big fluffy tails, she loves to grab their tails & pull, of course, most of her friends dont find this to be as much fun as she does. Take a look at the attached pictures.

Have a great Christmas,
Alan & Carla Messmann

Hi Kip,

I just wanted to check in and let you know, Kaia, is doing great. She pretty much slept the entire car ride home.
She is very eager to learn and doing a great job with house (potty) training. Brant has even taken her to work the past couple of days. We are working on crate breaking her now. We let her sleep in bed with us a night but eventually she is going to have to get in her own bed! We really havent left her alone yet, so hopefully she will be ok in her crate by the time we do. THanks again for everything and I will send some pics soon! Take care.

Sincerely,
Stacey Hart

Hi Kip,

Just wanted to let you know how things are going. If you remember we had the dog driven up instead of being sent by air. Troy arrived in great condition. The service you used had very friendly personnel and they told us of their trip up and how they took care of the puppy. Troy arrived in a portable cage which had water and bedding in it. Troy at the time was seven weeks old.

Well things couldn’t be better. Tammy our Female which we got from you has adapted to the new male puppy. Of course there is the normal rivalry when it comes to toys etc. Troy has learned much more quickly then Tammy did when we first got her , but , we feel Tammy presence and example is making the learning experience that much more faster. Troy is already doing four mile walks with no problems, giving paw, sitting. No issues with eating at all. Troy is becoming very muscular and her bright white chest is really showing. We receive daily comments where every we go.

Again many thanks ,

Mario and Syliva De Voogt - New Jersey

Hi Kip,

I just wanted to update you on Kaia. She will be turning "One" soon, and time has flown by. I just want to let you know she is everything you said she was going to be and more. We are so in love with her. She is very well behaved and is so gentle especially with little kids! She knows when its time to play rough and when its time to stop. She is 100% house trained and lives to please us. She is still a sleeper. She loves to sleep and lounge with us, she still sleeps in our bed, we couldn't kick her out and now she has free range of the couch with us. We have an older black lab, a cat and chickens that she loves to play with. She is great around other animals, actually sometimes she is too excited to see them. I just wanted you to know how thankful I am that I found you and your beautiful dogs. I was very worried about getting this breed because of the stigma but they are totally opposite of what people think. She LOVES my 2 1/2 year old daughter, she lets her climb on her, roll on her, and pull on her. If anyone is playing with my daughter (playfully), Kaia is normally close by keeping an eye on things. She has recently come into heat which has brought out her more protective side. She has been so laid back I was worried she didn't have one, but my husband said as she got older she would grow into that. She now lets us know when someone is here:) I could go on and on but I will stop now. She is everything we wanted and hope to someday have another one of your dogs!

Sincerely,
Stacey, Brant and Marlin Hart - Delaware

Hi Kip,

I hope You and your family had a great holiday.  I just wanted to take a moment and THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH for our puppy (you called her Bella).  She is just awesome and is now a wonderful part of our family.  So well behaved, and passed all her vet check's fine.  I don't know if you remember that I told you we had an older dog (Black Lab/Chow Mix).  Well that dog passed suddenly December 6th with a tumor in his liver, he was 14.  We were absolutely and completely devastated and the Puppy (We named her "Remy") really helped heal our families grief.  She is so happy here and so very much adored.  Her personality is really coming to the surface now, she is hilarious.  We have worked her out of that "Pet my belly now stuff" and very obedient "already house trained and leash trained".
Kip, Again thank you so very very much.  You breed excellent puppies and I would highly recommend you to anyone.  Please keep me posted on any forthcoming litters planned and keep in touch.
We all wish you and your family a healthy, happy and very prosperous New Year.

Many Thanks,
Lyn Howe
